Top performance venues
Sacred choirs and classical orchestras can perform a 45-minute concert at this prestigious Gothic cathedral.
An historic pilgrimage site where St Peter supposedly hid the statue of Virgin Mary of the Black Madonnas of Europe. Choirs can sing for ten minutes before the daily performance of the ‘Salve Regina’ by its famous boys’ choir. A fabulous opportunity for groups to perform.
The cathedral stands in the ancient walled city of Girona situated on a fortress-like hill, high above the River Onyar.
La Sagrada Familia Cathedral
Choirs who wish to take a tour of this impressive venue may also perform a short sacred programme in the chapel of Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s, as yet unfinished, architectural masterpiece.
Hotel Reymar, Malgrat de Mar
Spacious, well-lit performance area at the hotel, where you will get a good audience at most times of the year.
Groups with fitting programmes may perform in the spacious Salesian church, which attracts good audiences.
Eglisa de Sant Bartolemeu, Sitges
This parish church located on the Catalonian coastline allows a mixture of music to be performed and attracts good local audiences.
Sant Roma Church, Lloret de Mar
This colourful church fuses together the original Catalan-Gothic architecture and more contemporary elements synonymous with turn of the century Catalan Modernism. Choirs with a sacred programme are invited to perform here for largely local audiences.
Promenade, Malgrat de Mar
With a fantastic view of the sea, this venue attracts lots of passers-by and proves popular in the summer.
La Roca, Lloret de Mar
A great place to perform due to its popularity with audiences frequenting the promenade.
Jardi Del Rei, Museu Maritim de Barcelona
The historic Maritime Museum gardens offer groups the opportunity to take part in their free concert series during the summer, a must for bands wanting to perform in the city itself.
Pedralbes Shopping Centre, Barcelona
This top-class shopping centre, located in the heart of Barcelona’s financial district, hosts a variety of musical performances and offers a great stage for guest artists.
Museu Deu, El Vendrell
High quality ensembles may perform in the museum gardens, located in the town where celebrated Catalan cellist and composer Pablo Casals was born. Indoor performance option also available.
La Sagrada Família
Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece remains a popular tourist attraction and a world renowned emblem of the city. Students will be amazed by its sheer size and its architectural complexity.
Based on Gaudí’s plans of 1954, this stunning building is still under construction and is due to be completed in 2026. During a visit here, students can walk up the spiral steps to see the openwork spires whilst at the same time stone snakes, lizards and frogs pop out from the architecture.
Camp Nou Stadium
This world-famous football stadium offers students the opportunity to experience the awe-inspiring size of this venue whilst also learning about the heritage and history of Barcelona FC.
Take a visit to the famous park which was designed by Antonio Gaudí. Beautiful examples of his extraordinary work can be seen here. The serpentine pathways take you on a journey past a magnificent fusion of architecture and natural forms, benches shaped like dragons, a gatehouse topped with fly agaric mushrooms and Casa Batlló’s melting façade, resembling skulls, masks and sharks teeth. The park’s high-point also provides fabulous views of the city.
A fascinating visit for all groups and a must for anyone studying 3D.
Students will enjoy wandering along this famous street with its variety of shops, cafés, market stalls and street entertainers.
We have been working closely with PortAventura to bring you the very best value tickets.
PortAventura has everything to make a trip here unforgettable! Both students and teachers will have a great time in the two amazing parks. PortAventura Park is an astonishing amusement park divided in six thematic areas with many rides and shows. Costa Caribe Aquatic Park is a water park packed with waves and slides.
Together you can travel around the six themed areas of the park: Mediterrània, China, México, Polynesia, Far West and SésamoAventura. Take in several shows, from the dazzling wonders of Teatro Imperial in China to the exotic dances of Polynesia and then enjoy the thrills and spills of the many, many rides.
Aquapolis Water Park
A great water park that has several slides and a free dolphin show.
Dalí Theatre & Museum
The spectacular Dalí museum will astound groups with its surrealism, from its exterior architecture to the paintings, sculptures, furniture and 3D collages within.
This museum contains the broadest range of work from Salvador Dalí’s career and the building of the museum is as surreal as the exhibits within. One room even turns into Mae West’s face when viewed from a small stage.
The largest water park on the Costa Brava has numerous water rides and even a bungee-jump.
This fascinating show, based on the heart-stopping and passionate art of Flamenco dancing, is a must for groups and a true cultural experience from Spain’s musical heritage.
Originally a Roman Village, this beautiful area is a fantastic combination of old and new with the main attraction of a stunning cathedral. The narrow winding streets, with their many shops and eateries, are great for exploring!
A complete village consisting of streets and squares with reconstructions of famous or characteristic buildings from all over Spain. Students can practise their language skills in the many buildings housing working craftspeople, souvenir shops, cafés and restaurants. Interactive workshops on Spanish crafts such as ceramics and leather jewellery, and Spanish cooking are also available for groups at Poble Espanyol.
The renovated harbour area has a number of attractions including the IMAX Cinema and Maremagnum. Students can explore the largest aquarium in Europe, observing over 450 different species and marvellous underwater scenes. Visit the wide range of shops, eateries, an arcade games centre and a state-of-the-art large screen cinema, offering 3D movie experiences, too!
