On-tour support for music, concert and performance groups
At NST, our dedicated team of music specialists work hard to make your tour a magical and unforgettable experience. From planning and promoting your performances, through to making all your concert tour arrangements, you’ll be in good hands with NST.
Your in-house music tour team
We have a dedicated team of expert Concert Consultants and Music Tour Travel Advisors who spend every day organising concerts that are tailor-made to school groups’ needs – so you’ll get all the support and advice you’ll need.
John Kay, Concert Consultant
With extensive knowledge of our range of concert venues in the UK and overseas, Concert Consultant, John Kay, works with music tour groups to match the most appropriate options to suit their ability and requirements.
Alisha Nelis, Assistant Concert Consultant
Alisha spends her days matching groups to destinations and venues according to their requirements and ability, ensuring they get the very best from their time away.
Sheena Orchin, Music Tour Specialist
You’ll also have the added support of your own Music Tour Specialist, Sheena Orchin. It’s her job to piece together a travel package of accommodation, transport, visits and leisure activities around your performance schedule to ensure that you get the right balance of concerts and visits.
Your On-Tour Support
In many destinations we can offer Concert Assistants and Tour Assistants to give you all the support you need on the ground whilst you’re away. We can now also provide a Tour Manager in all destinations.
From teacher feedback we know that on-tour support from the very start of your journey is important to you. That’s why we now offer support from a Tour Manager who will assist you throughout the duration of your tour, including at your concerts where they will be on-hand to provide extra support. Many groups have told us this service is important to them. Please ask us for more details.
Your Tour Assistant will meet you each morning at your hotel and stay with you each day to guide you through the events of your tour. They’ll also deal with the organisation of your concerts, leaving you and your group free to concentrate on your performances.
Your Concert Assistant will meet you at your venues, take care of concert organisation and any issues which may arise, so that you and your group can concentrate solely on preparing for your performance.
We offer a fantastic range of venues, suited to all types of group and every ability. We’ll advise on, and organise, everything you need. We’ll go the extra mile in promoting your concerts for you too.
- select venues that regularly attract good audiences, and we’ll schedule your concerts at the best times to maximise audience potential.
- locate A-board posters outside your venue, distribute promotional posters and leaflets ahead of your performances, plus promote your concerts in the local press, ‘what’s on’ guides, social media, and on radio where possible.
- invite local youth and cultural groups to your concert (where appropriate) and, where possible, we’ll organise joint concerts and festival participations to attract the largest possible audiences.
