It's a convenient location with over 70 acres of stunning grounds and woodland to relax in after a busy day of excursions.
There are playing fields, boules pitches and even a heated outdoor pool to enjoy, as well as an inspiring mix of optional adventure activities to add an extra dimension to the learning experience. For those looking for even more excitement, Disneyland® Paris is only 30 minutes away.
Plus, your group will be greeted by an on-site Group Co-ordinator, who will be there to support you throughout your stay - helping ensure everything runs smoothly and your students get the most from their experience.

What safety measures are in place at Chateau de Grande Romaine?
We have a huge emphasis on safety, starting with the recruitment of our staff and continuing through to all of our activities. As a founder member of BAPA (British Activity Providers Association) and a licence holder for activities in scope of AALA (Adventure Activities Licencing Authority) regulations, we make safety our priority.
A risk assessment has also been carried out at Château de Grande Romaine, with risks being outlined and managed. The risk assessment covers the grounds of Château de Grande Romaine, as well as all of the activities available at the centre.
Our Activity Instructors are experts in their area, trained and assessed both in-house and by external assessors. They’ll be there during every activity to make sure they’re completed safely and correctly.
New staff complete a comprehensive induction and job specific training followed by regular observations, feedback, reviews and assessments.

The fun doesn’t stop after the day’s activities! After dinner, our evening entertainment programme will keep your group amused until it’s time for bed.
