Our expert speakers are selected to meet the learning objectives of the maths curriculum at KS4 and students can put their own questions to our experts during a Q&A session. As part of this immersive maths event students take part in park challenges covering the fundamentals of maths at KS4 in a practical and fun way.

The workbooks contain park challenges which encourage students to take a step back and critically appraise the resort from their subject perspective. These park challenges provide opportunity for problem solving, decision making as well as working together so that your students get the maximum from the their time at Disneyland® Paris.

Our lively and interactive question and answer session gives the students control to ask the questions they want answers to. All the speakers take to the stage to answer questions to provide different perspectives and to offer invaluable career advice from their own experience.

Sophie Maclean
Sophie Maclean is a mathematician and experienced maths communicator currently studying for a PhD in Maths in London. When not discovering new maths, Sophie shares her love of maths with others by delivering talks and workshops all around the UK and beyond. Sophie has spoken at the Cheltenham Science Festival, been featured on BBC and Channel 5 news, and writes articles via both the Heidelberg Laureate Forum and as part of the Chalkdust team.
