Take a walk along the beautiful coastline to study a wide range of coastal processes & erosional & depositional landforms. Consider the coastal management along the seafront. 

Urban regeneration case study in Girona

Initial exploration & introduction to the history of Girona. Undertake fieldwork studies into urban regeneration in the Old Quarter in the 1990’s & early 2000’s. Opportunity for a Game of Thrones tour & consider how “set-jetting” is leading to further economic & cultural regeneration in Girona. 

Sand dune ecosystems

Conduct a short study of sand dune succession & management.
