Le Grand Massif is made up of the villages of Morillon, Samoens Les Carroz, Sixt and Flaine (famous for being the "big snowy bowl").

Steep and challenging slopes start from the Tete du Pre du Saix, opening to fast cruising pistes lower down. On the Morillon side of the valley are parallel gentle runs in the treeline towards Morillon.
