Santa Monica, CalellaThe hotel, which was built in 1973, extends over 10 floors. It is a large typical Spanish resort hotel, popular with holidaymakers during the summer season. The hotel was renovated in 2005.

A very pleasant modern hotel of a good standard which is run by friendly, well-organised staff, lies close to the beach, and has received high praise from guests.

The hotel is located in the resort of Calella, a 5 minute walk from the beach. Calella is a large seaside resort, 55 kilometres north of Barcelona.

Security Deposit
A security deposit against damage is payable on arrival. The amount is €10.00 per person, payment in cash only. This amount is refundable at the end of your stay provided there has been no poor behaviour or damage to the areas occupied by the group. In order to avoid misunderstanding, we suggest all group leaders undertake an inspection of all rooms with hotelier/centre manager on arrival and departure and any existing damage is immediately reported.

Hotel Goya Park, RosasA modern hotel built over 10 floors (one of which is on the ground floor), belonging to the ‘Prestige Hotels’ chain. The hotel was renovated in 2001 and offers attractive and comfortable accommodation and a wide range of facilities for school groups.

Location Information
Rosas is an attractive holiday resort set around a bay on the northern Mediterranean coastline of Spain, 40 kilometres south of the French border and 150 kilometres north of Barcelona. The hotel is situated approximately 200 metres from the beach front in the newer Santa Margarida area of Rosas. It is about 1 ½ kilometres from the heart of the original village of Rosas but the immediate neighbourhood offers the full range of tourist infrastructure one would expect from a seaside resort

Hotel Don Juan, Northern CataloniaThis is a modern and stylish Mediterranean complex, typical of those on the Spanish coast, catering mainly for tourists on their summer holidays and very family-orientated. The hotel is built on a hill and three of the floors are laid out in terraces, which climb the hill. The bungalows are rustic Catalan style with beamed ceilings. Groups are normally accommodated in the hotel rooms rather than the bungalows.

The Hotel Don Juan is located approximately 150 metres from the town centre, with its many facilities such as shops, restaurants, bars, and the beach is 200 metres away. There is a regular bus service to Lloret de Mar, which is about 12 kilometres away, and a supermarket just two minutes walk from the hotel. Tossa is a charming seaside resort located approximately 1 - 1½ hours away from Barcelona. It retains a much quieter, more authentically Spanish feel than its neighbour, Lloret de Mar.

We’ve prepared project work based on the visits incorporated within your itinerary, so you’ll easily be able to incorporate these challenging and enjoyable activities into your pre- and post-tour lesson plans.
