Hotel Roma Reial & ComercioThis simple hotel offers functional accommodation. The building itself has a great deal of character and the hotel is well-managed. There is a sister establishment, the Hotel Comercio, which is located approximately 100 metres around the corner, and this hotel is also used to accommodate groups.

Hotel Roma Reial & Comercio
A very busy, city centre hotel which accommodates student parties from all over Europe. Here you’ll find good, budget accommodation in a lively, central location which very good value for money. We think it is best suited to older, self-sufficient school groups and students.
Location Information
Hotel Roma Reial is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, in the Plaça Reial and only a 1 minute walk from the Ramblas. A weekly flea market is held here on Sundays. Transfer coaches stop at the bottom of the Ramblas to unload luggage and from here groups make the remainder of the journey to the hotel on foot (which equates roughly to a 10 minute walk). The nearest metro stop is ‘Liceu’ on the green line. The presence of working girls around city centre hotels has been reported by previous group leaders. For this reason, we suggest the hotel is not suitable for younger school parties. As in other busy European capitals, care should be taken with bags, wallets and other personal possessions.
