Barcelona Cathedral
The Cathedral can be found along the windy cobbled streets of the Barri Gotic (Gothic Quarter) in Barcelona Old Town, which is located on the right hand side of La Rambla when facing Placa de Catalunya. This imposing and ornate building dates back to the 13th – 15th centuries and has the full title of the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia. For a small fee, sacred choirs and classical orchestras may give a late afternoon performance in this prestigious venue, subject to acceptance of their material. Audiences are made up of Cathedral visitors, both tourists and locals. For a more formal evening concert, it is also possible to hire the Cathedral, but it tends to be more popular during the day.
Montserrat Monastery
An historic pilgrimage site where St Peter supposedly hid the statue of Virgin Mary, of the black Madonna’s of Europe. Choirs can sing for ten minutes before the daily performance of ‘Ave Maria’ by its famous boys’ choir. A fabulous opportunity for groups to perform.
Girona Cathedral
The cathedral stands in the ancient walled city of Girona situated on a fortress-like hill, high above the River Onyar.

Parc Güell
Take a visit to the famous park which was designed by Gaudí. The serpentine pathways take you on a journey past examples of his unique works of art. The park’s high-point also provides fabulous views of the city

PortAventura Park is an astonishing amusement park divided in to five thematic areas with many rides and shows. PortAventura Aquatic Park is a water park packed with waves and slides. Together you can travel around the five themed areas of the park: Mediterrània, China, Mexico, Polynesia and the Far West. Take in several shows, from the dazzling wonders of Teatro Imperial in China, to the exotic dances of Polynesia, and then enjoy the thrills and spills of the many, many rides. Opening times vary and are seasonal, usually open mid March to November.
Aquapolis Water Park, Salou
A great water park that has several slides and a free dolphin show.

Location Information
The Hotel Canada is located in the seaside resort of Calafell, approximately 60 kilometres south of Barcelona (approximately 45 minutes’ drive away). The town has a pleasant promenade, a large commercial centre and a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is situated some 120 metres from the beach. It is also very close to the coastal railway line (walking distance) which gives direct access to Barcelona (an approximate 50 minute journey) departing every half an hour. Port Aventura/Tarragona is 30 minutes away.

Location Information
The hotel is located in the centre of the resort of Pineda de Mar, in the old town area. Pineda de Mar is a medium-sized seaside resort on the Spanish Catalan coast with a long sandy beach. The resort is approximately 36 miles from Barcelona (a 45 minute drive). The old town is very pretty and typical with winding streets, friendly squares and a variety of little shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel is approximately 450 metres from the beach.
