NST Stage School Workshops
We offer the same workshops in Manchester as in London. Delivered by a qualified teaching artist (so you can get involved too), workshops can be tailored to your chosen show, as well as your curriculum requirements. It will also include a 30 minute Q&A session with a West End Performer.

Stage Combat (1½ Hours)
A fun and interactive session that culminates in students creating their own combat sequence. Heightens focus, safety, and listening skills.
West End 101 (1½ Hours)
Involve your students in storytelling exercises, and introduce them to the history of the West End and professional theatre.
Step By Step (1½ Hours)
Put their dance moves to the test in this spectacular master class with a professional dancer. Your group will interpret choreography, and explore different styles of dance.
Song in Performance (1½ Hours)
Work with a West End musical director or performer to enhance singing technique on a song of your choosing! Students will learn how to act through song and develop vocal ability whilst discovering techniques to use song as a dramatic vehicle in musical performance.
Making a Scene (1½ Hours)
Highly interactive! Your group will bring a chosen text to life by building characters and performance through improvisation. Designed to encourage bold and creative acting choices.
Shakespeare 2000 (1½ Hours)
By choosing this no-nonsense practical introduction to Shakespeare, your group are offered a unique physical approach to standing the text on its feet. This workshop will aid student understanding and can help promote communication skills, imagination and concentration.

The Lowry
The Lowry brings together a wide variety of performing and visual arts under one roof, opening its doors to the best in entertainment and education in the arts. As well as theatre performances, there are several restaurants, cafés and bars situated along the southern side of the building, with spectacular waterside views. The Lowry plays host to a Vue cinema too.
Old Trafford Stadium Tour
