 Safety Guidance

The hotel conforms to all local standards, which does not require windows to have restricted opening and does not require fire doors that self-close. Therefore groups are advised, for additional security, to ensure doors are shut at night.  Group leaders are advised to consider this in their risk assessments/group management plan and ensure appropriate control measures are put in place.

Security Deposit

A damages deposit is payable on arrival. The amount is €300 per group and can be paid in cash. This amount is refundable at the end of your stay provided there has been no damage to the areas occupied by the group. To avoid misunderstanding, we recommend all group leaders undertake an inspection of all rooms with the hotelier on arrival.

NST Destination Manager

Our Cantabria Destination Manager, Pablo, has been part of NST for 10 years and teacher feedback consistently tells us that he is loved by groups.  Pablo, or a member of his team, will meet you on arrival, assist you with hotel check-in, advise you on points of interest and public transport and provide 24-hour emergency assistance.  Pablo is a native speaker of Spanish language too.  Pupils always find him friendly and approachable, so time with Pablo will provide the perfect opportunity for them to practise their language skills.
