Our Spanish Language visits programme to Barcelona and the Northern and Southern coastlines of Catalonia offers a range of great opportunities to introduce pupils to Spanish life, culture and language.

For your school trip, we’ll create an itinerary that includes the right combination of excursions and experiences to suit the age and study objectives of your pupils. Our Southern Catalonia destinations include Salou, Calafell, Coma-ruga and San Salvador.

Calafell, Coma-ruga or San Salvador

6 Days from only £355pp (by air)

Day 1 Travel

Flight to Spain. Transfer to the hotel. Evening meal (first meal included).

Day 2 Barcelona

Morning city coach tour of Barcelona. Visit the Plaza Catalunya, the Gothic Quarter and the Cathedral, the Ramblas, the Columbus Monument, the Holy Family Church and the Gaudi Houses (4 hour guide option). Free afternoon to explore the Parc Güell and the Nou Camp Stadium.

Day 3 Gerona & Figueres

Full day excursion to Gerona and Figueres. Gerona is a well-preserved medieval city with a fascinating maze of streets and colour-washed buildings. Just 30 minutes away is Lake Banyoles, the site of a number of water sports events in the 1992 Olympics. This makes a good stopping point for lunch. In Figueres, the Dali Museum dominates the town with its huge dome and luminous egg-shapes and contains a diverse collection of painting and surreal artifacts.

Day 4 Port Aventura

Full day excursion to Universal Studios Port Aventura* (open mid March to beginning of November). This popular theme park is divided into 5 lands and includes a variety of stunning rides and attractions. Entrance fees are pre-bookable with NST but are not included in the tour price.

Day 5 Sitges

Morning half day excursion to the old-established resort of Sitges on the Costa Dorada. This resort is a regional cultural centre and largely unspoilt by mass tourism. Afternoon free for independent exploration.

Day 6 Return Travel

Depart after breakfast with a packed lunch (last meal included). Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Britain.
