Rosas

6 Days

Day 1 Flight to Spain

Transfer to the hotel in Rosas. Evening meal (first meal included). Overnight: Rosas.

Day 2 Gerona & Figueres

Full day to Gerona and Figueres. Gerona is a well preserved medieval city with a fascinating maze of streets and colour-washed buildings. Just 30 minutes away is Lake Banyoles, the site of a number of water sports events in the 1992 Olympics. This makes a good stopping point for lunch. In Figueres, the Dali Museum dominates the town with its huge dome and luminous egg-shapes and contains a diverse collection of painting and surreal artefacts.

Day 3 Independent Exploration

Free day to relax. Your hotel has a swimming pool and is within easy reach of the beach. Optional visit to Aqua Brava water park (May – September only).

Day 4 Barcelona

Full day excursion to Barcelona. In the morning visit Plaza Catalunya, the Gothic Quarter and the Cathedral, the Ramblas, the Columbus Monument, the Holy Family Church and the Gaudi Houses (4 hour guide option). In the afternoon explore the Montjuïc area including the Olympic Stadium and the Spanish Village.

Day 5 Costa Brava

Half day Costa Brava tour Includes a visit to Cadaques, a working fishing port with an attractive old quarter (4 hour guide option).

Day 6 Return Travel

Depart after breakfast with a packed lunch (last meal included). Transfer to the airport for your return flight to UK.
