Recreation Facilities at Le Chateau

One of the key advantages Le Chateau offers is that you can keep your entire group together on-site during the evening and other leisure times, without any need for group members to wander off-site. This is one aspect of safety management that many teachers staying with groups at the Chateau see as a major benefit.

Games Room (communal)

The communal games room is open to any groups staying at Le Chateau. The shop and teachers bar are also on the same premises. Games room facilities include:

Outdoor Recreation Facilities

Our self-contained grounds and gardens provide plenty of room for students and pupils to run around and participate in various outdoor games. Our outdoor recreational facilities include:

• 4 hectares of private grounds
• 2 football pitches
• Volleyball
• Outdoor Games

Evening Activities

Each evening, our staff can arrange a programme of activities to keep your group occupied until bedtime and during the Summer months additional outdoor activities can also be provided. Evening activities include:

• Initiative exercises

• Petanque
• Soiree Crepes
• La Grande Chute d’Oeufs
• Disco

Within your own dedicated accommodation block, you will also have your room with TV, video and whiteboard for evening study sessions should you wish. Please note that organised activities usually continue to 21:30 hrs.
