AMSTERDAM ARENA

The World of Ajax Tour gives you a look at the amazing Amsterdam Arena (one of the largest multi-functional stadiums in Europe) and into the history of the legendary football club that calls it home.

ANNE FRANK’S HOUSE

Location : Amsterdam

This historic building is where Anne and her family were hidden during the war. The Secret Annex has been preserved in its authentic state. The front part of the building (the offices where the Helpers worked) has been restored to the style and ambiance of the war years. There are quotations from the diary, photographs, films and original objects, as well as Anne’s first diary on display. In the new wing of the museum, you can visit the multimedia space and interactive exhibition.

CANAL CRUISES

Experience Amsterdam from the water. Through a number of canals, this cruise passes along some of the city’s most beautiful spots. After a £4 million renovation, Madame Tussauds are delighted to welcome you to a new experience. One of the three floors features Holland as it was in the time of Rembrandt, otherwise known as the Golden Age. Hear the cannon roar from the Spanish War, stroll through Amsterdam as it was 400 years ago and look over the shoulder of Vermeer as he paints one of his great masterpieces in a 3D recreation of his paintings. You can also meet the celebrities of today, international and national personalities such as Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, George Bush and Eddie Murphy.

REMBRANDT HOUSE

Location : Amsterdam

Today, the house where Rembrandt lived between 1639 and 1658 is now a museum providing students with an opportunity to see how etchings were printed in the 17th century every day of the week amongst other activities and exhibits.

ZAANSE SCHANS

Location : Amsterdam

This is a living and working village where pupils can see traditional houses, windmills and warehouses that give an impression of what the Zaanstreek looked like in the 17th and 18th centuries.
